Razer Synapse no longer seems to be recognizing the devices, so I'm back to the drawing board. On an M1 Big Sur 11.1 now and working through a 27" Logitech 4k Cinema Display.

I didn't want to install too heavy/invasive software on my mac, and since indeed the old solution is no longer working on catalina, I am now using this: I'm terrified to click on my settings related to my mouse, even open SteerMouse or the SteelSeries ExactMouse out of fear that I'll ruin whatever I've fallen into. I have no idea if this means SteerMouse is finally running the show or if they changed something else with Catalina overnight last night, but I just played two games with mouse control similar to my shitty work PC that I've never had any issues mouse-related with. At first I thought it was a Logitech mouse issue. Ive searched for ways to adjust this via the terminal. I have without success tried both USB Overdrive as well as Steermouse to see if they have any options that would let me adjust this. SteerMouse has a limited trail period (I believe for about 1 month), and USB Overdrive has that incredibly annoying 10 second count-down window any time you open the application (as seen above. However, I upgraded to Catalina overnight last night and haven't had any issues with my Razer Deathadder (old one, blue color) and mouse accel. For whatever reason my mouse moves WAY faster horizontally than vertically. I changed the batteries on the Logitech mouse yesterday and it had no effect. I turn the mouse off whenever I stop work. I haven't paid any attention to this thread and suffered for a while with SteerMouse. I use a Logitech wireless mouse with plugged in USB receiver. If it ceased to work with Catalina, would you mind just recompiling it in 64bit? I am using this program for years, and I am very happy with it.

Did anyone test yet if it is still working on macOS Catalina? According to release notes, support for 32bit software was dropped, though I don't know if it was actually technically dropped, or if its just new AppStore guidelines. The USB Overdrive is a device driver for Mac OS X that handles any USB mouse / trackball / joystick / gamepad / media keyboard and any Bluetooth mouse from.
